More What's New in Verbier this Winter

This time it's all about night life, dining and apres ski..

Not only are there a few changes to some of Verbier's restaurants, and a new red piste being built, but there's also a fair bit of change going on in Verbier's nightlife and apres scene too.

The Farinet Hotel has been sold and both Farinet Après and The Lounge are currently being renovated for this winter. Expect more of the same from the legendary après ski bar. Some of the old favourite bands will be back - just expect more dancing on the bar! The Lounge isn't set for any major changes either; they will once again be serving excellent cocktails in style as well as offering a tapas menu straight from the slopes until late.

Twin Peaks will be opening 7 days a week from 23:00 to 04:00 and is set to become the new favourite seasonnaire late night hang out as the Casbah changes hands and name to the Etoile Rouge. It's also going to have a dining area, so the atmosphere will no doubt be quite different to what you may have previously been used to.

After 12 years at the Farinet , Laurent Royer, Rob Sawyer are teaming up with J C Luisier from Nomad and are moving to a new venue at the Nevai Hotel. The Sushi Lounge, a concept which has its roots in New York and London, will seamlessly now evolve after dinner in to a lively stylish cocktail Lounge Bar, with DJs entertaining guests on certain nights of the week, before ushering them into the new Farm club operation. The Sushi Lounge will be open from the beginning of December, open 7 days a week from 16:00 to 01:30.

Thanks to Kev from Karting Extreme and to Alex, a member of the new team at the Farinet for sharing the details with us.
