New Piste for Verbier this Winter
New red piste being worked on ready for winter
Maarten from Altitude Verbier has sent us a quick look at the new red piste being built in time for winter.
It starts at the Planards-Carrefour path and leads all the way down to the top of the nursery slope at Les Esserts (see photos).
Maarten tells us "Over the last couple of seasons the route Planards-Carrefour was often closed due to avalanche risk and with this solution Verbier offers a better route down for people skiing on Savoleyres."
The new piste is going to be called "Planards-Les Esserts" and will be 1000m long.
