In order to make the most of the beautiful Verbier region, you should take advantage of the network of lifts that are open during the summer months. The main lifts operate from July to the end of August, with a reduced service running from mid-June until mid-September (especially for the bike park). The resort offers a variety of different lift passes and activity cards to cater for a whole range of preferences. There is no additional charge for taking your bike, dog or paraglider on the lift and all prices below are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF). Opening & Closing Dates for Verbier - Summer 2010
|
The Verbier lift system is open, in part, throughout the summer giving access to many beautiful hikes and bike rides. The first lift to open is Les Ruinettes, which operates on weekends only from early May and then runs daily from July. It is also the last lift to close, ending its daily service late September but continuing to run at weekends (depending on the weather) right up until October.
The other summer lifts run mainly from early July until the last weekend of August, with the Les Ruinettes to Mont Fort connections opening slightly later. Please see the Summer Lift Schedule for more details of opening dates and times.

- There is no additional charge for bikes, paragliders or dogs.
- Children under 8 and adults over 77 can access all lifts free of charge (ask for your free pass at the ticket office, proof of age may be requested).
