Ski Lift Passes - Options in Verbier
The skiing in and around Verbier can be broken up into 4 areas, namely: Verbier, La Tzoumaz/Savoleyres, Bruson and Mt Fort/4 Valleys.
All areas are quite distinct from one to the other, offering different types of terrain of varied difficulty. Passes can be bought for each of the areas individually or one pass that covers all.There is a lot of choice (which is never a bad thing) but giving a bit of consideration to your needs may get you the best deal. If you are planning on booking ski lessons it may be worth your while to contact the ski school and see what they recommend.
Verbier ski passes can be purchased for all sorts of durations from half-days, afternoons, days to season or annual passes. Non-skiers can pick up a pedestrian pass.
The main lift pass office is by the Médran lifts and advice can also be sought there on what you will make best use of. Cards for 3 days or more are of the ‘hands-free’ magnetic variety and cost an initial CHF5 which is non-refundable. You can also buy your pass online - ski passes ordered online can be collected in resort or delivered to your door for 20 CHF.
