About the Lift System in Verbier
Verbier St Bernard is part of the '4 Vallees', made up of Verbier, Nendaz, Veysonnaz and Thyon. Accross these four valleys there are 92 ski lifts and more than 412km of pistes to enjoy, and with the excellent lift system you can access all the skiing that Verbier and the '4 Vallees' has to offer.
Verbier itself has 34 lifts taking you from the Verbier town at 1500m all the way up to Mont Fort at 3023m. With 195km of pistes the lift system gives you access to the wonderful slopes and breath taking views.
The lifts are marked on the piste map using straight black lines and there are four types of lifts that will take you up the mountain in no time, button/drag lifts, chairlifts, cable cars and gondola lifts. Open throughout the winter season, including Christmas and New Years day you can access the huge number of pistes. With the hands-free lift passes you can whizz around the slopes fuss free although check which ski pass options are available and ski pass prices before going up the mountain.
