The long awaited moment has arrived...

Verbier will open the slopes! With fresh snowfall over last weekend and into this week, and the winter conditions over the past few days, the Verbier ski slopes have confirmed that they will open non-stop from Friday 27th November.

More than 70 cm of fresh snow fell in the Attelas area, with 40cm at Ruinettes and 30cm in the resort itself allowing Téléverbier to open its slopes every day from this Friday. This week we have enjoyed freezing temperatures which has allowed the mechanical snowmaking system to be in operation between Attelas and Ruinettes and the Chaux. Thanks to the tremendous work done by the Verbier teams, they are going to be able to open much of the terrain: the Lac des Vaux, the Attelas-Ruinettes and the red track of Chaux. Other pistes will be operational depending on snow conditions.

Here are the pistes and facilities that will be open daily from Friday,

  • The cable car Châble - Verbier 08:40 to 19:30 (domain access)
  • Verbier gondola - The Ruinettes from 08:45 to 16:15 (access to ski area however pistes are closed)
  • Funispace from 08:55 to 16:15 and Attelas piste
  • Chairlift Lac des Vaux 1 (blue piste) 09:05 to 16:15.
  • Chairlift Lac des Vaux 2 (red pistes) 09:15 to 16:00
  • Gondola Chaux Expresse from 09:00 to 16:15 and red piste
  • Gondolas Tzoumaz-Verbier-Savoleyres 08:45 to 16:15 for connection (weekends only)
  • Chairlift and gondola Siviez-Tortin-Chassoure from 09:00 to 16:15 (connection only and weekends only)

The restaurants Le Chalet Carlsberg and L'Olympique will open this Friday and self-service restaurant Le Mouton Noir will open on Saturday.

Ticket offices at Médran (Verbier) and Châble will be open daily from 08:30 to 16:30. La Tzoumaz ticket office pending the opening of the Savoleyres area, will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 08:30 to 16:15.
