Verbier Rentals Sets up a New Last Minute Availability Checker
New last minute accommodation search tool for Verbier
Our friends at Verbier Rentals have just launched a new accommodation availability checker called Verbier Last Minute.
Initially they wanted to set up a portal for their own business to allow people to find last minute places to stay, but have since started opening it up to other businesses, including hotels, chalet and apartment owners.
Kim Taylor from Verbier Rentals/Verbier Last Minute told us that she'd heard from a number of clients who said it was hard to find last minute rooms and availability, and since the tourist office don't have this function, they decided to set it up themselves. "You can call a number of tourist offices a few days before arrival in resort and they will let you know what rooms or accommodation is available, but that function doesn't exist here in Verbier".
The concept is in its fledgling stages, but Kim is hopeful that it will provide a good service for people looking to find accommodation up to 14 days before their date of travel.
