With a little under a month to go before the start of this winter, we thought we'd give you a quick run down of what's on the events calendar so far in Verbier..

The season kicks off on 6th December with a party at Chalet Carlsberg followed by the Night Race trophy, a night ski touring race, a Christmas concert in Le Chable and an open slalom competition at Savolyeres.

In January Freeride week comes to town and the 18th is World Snow Day where young snowboarders and skiers can get some great advice on technique. There's another ski mountaineering race, this time in La Tzoumaz and then the Bruson Freeride competition at the end of the month.

February brings the Ski Alpine World Cup, a slope party for the kids and another ski touring race open to anyone to enter.

In March it's all about the Freeride World Tour Final on the legendary Bec des Rosses mountain with some end of season parties taking place in April, where you can compete against Pros in the Verbier High Five contest and get stuck in to the Ultime session - the ultimate end of season blow out.
