This small independent ski chalet accommodation company is run by experienced skiers and hospitality professionals. Julian and Matt have been skiing in Verbier for many seasons and know that you want to ski hard during the day, returning to the chalet to eat well in comfortable surroundings, before enjoying Verbier's nightlife.

From the moment you enquire with Ski Armadillo you can be assured of the standard of service you would expect from a luxury operator. Your enquiries will be dealt with promptly and efficiently by our sales team, who have a thorough knowledge of the resort, chalets and product.

Once you arrive in Verbier the resort team will be on hand to ensure that you have the best holiday you possibly can. The team is headed up by a manager and each chalet has a dedicated representative, who who will meet you on arrival and assist with ski hire and any lesson requirements that you may have, as well as collecting your lift passes and ensuring that they are in your chalet ready for skiing on your first morning. They will visit you again during the week to ensure everything is as it should be. A duty manager is on hand 24 hours a day, should you require.

Once inside the chalet you will be looked after by our hosts. They are discreet and extremely proficient, having all completed a formal cookery course. If you are staying in one of the premier chalets you will be cooked for by a professional chef, who will have experience in some of the best restaurants of the world.

What's included

All of the company's chalets in Verbier are let on a catered basis and include the following:

  • Breakfast seven days a week (on staff day off, guests help themselves to continental breakfast)
  • Afternoon tea seven days a week
  • Drinks reception and canapes on your first and last evening
  • Gourmet three-course dinner on six nights
  • Two pairs of carefully selected wines with dinner
  • Honesty bar for beers, mixers and soft drinks

Child policy

Meal Times
Their chalet hosts will serve high tea for children at around 18:00 (or later if you require). The menus are adaptable and your host will discuss with you your children’s likes and dislikes upon arrival. They can also make infant purees as required.

Equipment
Their chalets will be equipped with travel cots (note they don't provide travel cot laundry), high chairs, and toys. A microwave and steriliser are available upon request. Prior to your departure their concierge team can shop on your behalf for nappies and formula milk if you don't want to travel with it.

Private Nanny Service
They provide fully qualified nannies that work 8 hours a day five days a week. Timings are flexible and they recommend that these hours are confirmed in advance. Your nanny will come to the chalet on the evening of your arrival to meet you and your children and chat through your requirements and the week ahead. You can also speak directly with your nanny before you travel. Each qualified nanny is allowed to look after one of these categories at a time:

  • Two Infants aged 6 months-2 years
  • Three children aged 2 and over
  • Four children aged 5 and over
