Verbier Winter 2019 Opening Session

Come and celebrate the start of the Verbier ski season

Verbier kicks off the 2019/20 ski season with this great day on the slopes. Come dressed as Santa Claus and you can ski for 5 CHF on the opening day and take part in the largest gathering of Santas in a ski resort.

Don't worry if you forgot to pack your Santa outfit, costumes will be on sale at Le Chable, Medran, La Tzoumaz and Savoleyeres and then all St Nicolas' can enjoy a complimentary coffee and croissant at the base of the Medran cable car.

All participants will be given a “2 for 1” voucher during the day and then everyone in costume will meet up at Chalet Carlsberg for the traditional group photo at 14.30. There will be a free monoski test at Les Ruinettes throughout the day and then Santas can enjoy a free cocktail and show off their dance moves at the after ski party in Café Medran from 16:00.

Proceeds from the day will go to the local “Projo” charity, an organisation that supports people with spinal injuries in the Valais region.
