You’ll need to organise your own bike hire when staying here. Things to consider are the type of bike you want to rent such as road, mountain, hard trail and/or an electric bike; and whether you’ll need helmets and protective clothing with your rental. You’re best off choosing a shop that is close to your accommodation for ease of access, and making it quicker to return the bike and pay at the end. Some companies may also deliver so it’s worth looking at all the options.

- "We rented apartment 405 for a week in January. The apartment is well appointed with a full kitchen, one ensuite double and one twin room each with balconies. A large lounge area with an open fire finishes the unit. Staff at the hotel were excellent, setting fires every evening, booking restaurants and making recommendations. The spa is small but well appointed and the treatments are reasonable by Verbier standards. The location is close to the nursery slopes and just a 7-minute walk or free shuttle ride to the Medran lift station." - Trip Advisor
- "We had a great stay at the Cordee last week and find this hotel one of the best in Verbier. The room (we had an apartment) was superb and we enjoyed every minute we were in the room, the beds were superb. The breakfasts were very good, but the evening meals were excellent, we even had the chefs table which was fantastic if a bit filling. Leisure facilities, the courtesy bus worked well and the staff were very helpful all the time. My third stay now." - Trip Advisor
- "We had the best time at La Cordee for the week over Xmas. A superbly decorated modern, clean and luxurious hotel in the thick of Verbier's chichiness! Shame the snow wasn't so thick but still some great skiing high up. Our first stay and certainly not our last. Food excellent but do book the restaurant well in advance over peak periods. Spa pool a treat with trendy lounge areas. Staff accommodating and friendly, breakfast buffet super yummy if you like to be healthy. We stayed in a 4th floor 2 bedroom apartment. Lovely views, peaceful and comfortable. Do ask the concierge to book tables for lunch at both Cuckoo's Nest and La Vache. Inside tables are best for the gorgeous decoration. The facilities for storing skis at La Cordee are smart, clean and uncrowded and the transportation to get you to the lifts are frequent with handsome drivers to make the early morning a little less of a struggle. Shopping in the village is easy from this hotel. All walking distance, all super cool, so if your pockets are deep, overall a tip top one stop ski shop trot. Try saying that after a few lunchtime verre de vin!" - Trip Advisor
