This stylish hotel is located in the centre of Verbier close to all the restaurants, shops and nightlife. Reclaimed timbers and local natural materials have been used throughout to give it a luxurious feel without being out of place with the existing buildings in Verbier.

Whilst the hotel takes up the first and the second floors, the top three floors house exclusive apartments let out by the hotel which benefit from access to their facilities and services.

The hotel has 32 sophisticated rooms and suites, all including the latest technology such as flat screen TVs, on-demand videos, iPad controller, safe and free WiFi. Most rooms also include balconies with south facing views.

On the ground floor of the hotel, you will find a reception area with concierge service (in season), spa area, ski room with exterior access, a restaurant and conference rooms that will provide a perfect environment to meet or work.

What's the place like?

The Pool

The pool area in this hotel is incredibly elegant. With the log fire and chic furnishings it seems to be part of a smart living room in a townhouse. This 15 metres indoor pool is part of the spa area and is lit with gentle, calming mood lighting. The interior has been finished with hand planed wood and natural stone.

The spa also includes as jacuzzi, hammam and gym. The gym is naturally lit and incorporates a selection of cardio and strength machines, as well as an audiovisual installation to enhance the workout experience.

Treatments are available and their in-house staff are able to provide all skin and after sport treatments during the season.

Children under 13 are not allowed unsupervised in the pool area.

The Bar

The hotel's restaurant includes cocktail bar a where their especially trained staff can easily rattle off your favourite combination of flavours. There is also a lounge bar where they serve delicious afternoon tea.

The Restaurant

The chef of this hotel's restaurant offers elaborate and authentic cuisine influenced by Swiss and Italian styles, using a mix of fresh seasonal produce.

The restaurant is open for breakfast from 07:30 to 10:30 (11:00 on Sundays). It also opens for dinner during the winter season from 19:00, Wednesday to Sunday.

In-room service is also possible from the restaurant between 19:00 and 21:30, while there is also a separate room service menu from 07:00 to 19:00.

Situated in the south-western part of Switzerland in the canton of the Valais, Verbier is bordered by France to the west and Italy to the south. Verbier draws its alpine charm from its traditional chalet-style buildings harmoniously nestling in the hillside and its natural setting. Its south-westerly orientation means that it maximises sun exposure so there are many sun terraces for you to kick back and relax on.

The Place Centrale is where everything big tends to happen in Verbier. Chalet style buildings surround you in all directions, with the mountains as the perfect backdrop behind. Hotels, ski shops, banks, bars and retail shops are all within a 100-metre radius.

Sights nearby

Centre Culturel du Hameau in Verbier has a small Alpine Museum, gift shop and small church all located in a small private square at the bottom of Les Esserts Ski Slope. A bit further up at the top of Les Esserts you have Carrefour, which in winter is as high as the road goes, you have a panoramic view of the surrounding mountain ranges, Rogneux, Combin and Mont-Blanc.

The main activity in Verbier in winter is of course skiing and snowboarding, but you can do snowshoe walks, sledging or take a ride in a husky sledge. Off the mountain the 'centre sportif' provides swimming, squash, snow and ice karting, ice hockey and ice-skating. There is also a gym which provides private classes for every member such as Pilates, Yoga, Spin, Boxercise and more.

Golf-clubs nearby

Verbier has a local golf club that is situated at Le Hameau which is only open in the summer. It has an 18-hole golf course and is located above the main town of Verbier only a 5-minute drive away. The golf course is situated on the winter piste called 'Les Esserts'. There is also an 18 hole short pitch and put course at 'Les Moulins' which is a 5-minute walk from Place Centrale, just behind Cordee Des Alps hotel.

Lifts/Pistes nearby

Verbier has two lift stations, Medran (the main one) and Savoleyeres. Medran connects you to Verbier's main pistes and also down to Le Chable. Verbier is part of the 4 Vallees ski area, which includes the resorts of Nendez, Veysonnaz and Thyon. There’s a whopping total of 92 ski lifts and 412 km of pistes to ski and snowboard. Medran and Savoleyeres lift station are both easily connected via the free bus service.

Nightlife nearby

Verbier is known for some of the best partying in the Alps and it certainly does not disappoint with a wide range of options to choose from. From the Medran lift station down to Place Centrale you have between 10-15 bars open in winter from 15:00 to 01:00/02:00. For a late night option, you have the new South Nightclub (underneath The Farinet) The Etoile Rouge, Twin Peaks and Farm Club all within the surrounding areas of Place Centrale and no longer than 5 mins walking distance in each direction.
