The Delancey British Alpine Championships have now come to an end and we've just heard that British skier Cara Brown has retained her title - for the fourth time in a row!

She told us "I'm really pleased to have defended my Ladies Overall Champion title for the 4th year in a row! I am also the British Super G Champion and I finished 2nd in both the Giant slalom and the Downhill".

It's an impressive end to the season, you have to admit, especially since Cara came back to skiing in November after having her ACL operated on last year.

For now she still has some racing to finish in France before being able to take a break. "At the moment I've still got a few weeks of racing in France and then I'm going to Hintertux, Austria to do my BASI level 2. After that I'll take a short break off skis to train really hard in the gym. The plan this summer is for lots of technical training on the glaciers in Europe before maybe going to South America for some races and speed training".

We look forward to seeing if Cara can retain her title again next season!
