National Geographic choose Verbier as Europe's number 2 resort
The prestigious magazine recently published an article on 'The Top 7 Resorts in Europe Right Now' and Verbier has come out in second place, only after Chamonix. According to National Geographic, "Verbier is to Europe what Jackson Hole is to the United States - an epicenter of lift-accessed steep skiing".
The spectacular variety of off-piste and steep skiing on offer, its accessibility and the fact that you don't need to carry technical equipment (ropes, crampons, harnesses...) to enjoy it are the main points highlighted in the article.
