Verbier opens early in 2017
The Verbier lifts will open on Friday, 10th November!
Verbier received a significant dump of snow over the weekend. More than 40cm of the white stuff have accumulated on the summit of the Attelas allowing the lift company to open part of the ski resort from as early as next Friday, 10th of November.
Temperatures will stay below zero throughout the week, so the snow cannons can work on getting the Lac des Vaux area in perfect conditions for Friday. Verbier lifts will be running every weekend in November from then.
Day ski passes for the weekend of the 10th to the 12th of November will only cost 38.-CHF for adults, 32.-CHF for anyone under 25 or over 65 years of age, and 19.-CHF for children under 15 (free for children 6 years and under). You can also purchase an afternoon pass, valid from 11:30, which costs 34.-CHF for adults, 29.-CHF for juniors and seniors, and 17.-CHF for children. The ski pass offices of Medran and Le Chable will open every day from next Friday, from 08:30 to 16:30.
