Snowing in time for Easter weekend in Verbier

More snow & lots of things happening over Easter weekend

featured in Snow report Author European Snowsport, Verbier Reporter Updated

It has just started to snow in Verbier! The slopes below Ruinettes are even getting the snow. The snow is set to continue all day today, with sunshine tomorrow and again more snow on Sunday. The pistes should get a good few centimetres of fresh snow over the weekend which is great after weeks of sunshine!

All of the pistes in Verbier, Bruson and Savoleyres are open, including all itineraries except for La Cot – Le Chable. In Verbier town we have 20cm still on the pistes, with 169cm at Ruinettes at 2200m and 230cm at Gentianes at 2950m.

The Easter week holiday will still have fantastic conditions on the pistes, with some lovely spring snow off piste. The avalanche risk is low at 1 out of 5, just make sure you keep checking conditions if you are going off piste.

Verbier is hosting lots of events over Easter. On Sunday 27th March, they are holding the traditional Easter Egg Hunt for children up to 15 years old. Don’t forget to sign up by 6pm on Sunday. On Monday, there will be an ‘Apéro Musical’ from 4pm on Place Centrale.

Happy Easter!
