Nyumba Chalet, Verbier - Centre

7 bedroom Chalet in Verbier. Sleeps 16

featured in Chalets

This beautiful chalet, whose name means "home" in Swahili, sits high above Verbier and benefits from fantastic views over the valley below.

Nestled in a private corner of the exclusive Sonalon area in the heights of Verbier, the chalet was completed in 2009.

This beautiful 500 sqm property is laid out over four floors and boasts a magnificent spa, finished in Italian marble. Sliding glass doors open up to the commanding views across the valley and the mountains beyond. The spa facilities include an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, cold plunge pool, massage treatment room and a further hot tub on the terrace outside.

The main living room has a dramatic double height ceiling and is furnished with worn leather sofas, distressed wooden furniture, with a stylish mix of alpine detailing and African artwork and carvings.

There is a cinema room with projector screen, extensive DVD library and Sky TV. And if all that isn’t enough to keep the children entertained, there is also a large playroom, with countless toys and games.

The chalet also comes with two internal parking spaces, an impressive wine cellar, an office and WiFi internet access.

The chalet sleeps between 12-16 in seven rooms which are configured as follows:

The chalet is let on a catered basis. Six out of the seven days you will be served a delicious cooked breakfast of your choice with continental breakfast options (fresh bread, croissants, fruit and cereals). Enjoy homemade cakes and cookies when you return from skiing for afternoon tea. In the evening there are pre-dinner canapés and a 4-course meal. If you would prefer lighter suppers and/or children's teas, this can easily be arranged. Their chefs are always happy to speak to you on the phone before your arrival in Verbier to help them cater for any specific requests or individual dietary requirements that you may have.

An excellent selection of ten complimentary house wines are on offer and their fabulous house champagnes, Perrier Jouët Grand Brut and G.H.Mumm Cordon Rouge are complimentary and available throughout your stay.

If you are looking for something extra special, they have over eighty upgrade wines and champagnes in their cellars, from Château Mouton-Rothschild Bordeaux to Cloudy Bay sauvignon blanc to Dom Pérignon champagne.
