Mixed but fun conditions in Verbier
Lots of snow over New Year's
60cm of fresh snow fell at the end of last week but then torrential rain up to 2300m quickly washed away much of the powder.
Nonetheless the pistes remain in good condition and the highest slopes still hold some powder. It looks like there's more snow in the forecast for the coming week, however, the freezing level might be quite high meaning it could rain on the lower parts of the resort.
Some of the highest lifts have been closed due to the weather, and avalanche risk remains high.
