Summer isn't quite over here in Verbier, but our thoughts are already starting to turn to winter and the beginning of the season, especially since the line up for the Polaris Festival has been announced.

Verbier's 2017-18 ski season kicks off on 4th December when the lifts are officially scheduled to open, and shortly after that the Polaris Festival begins. From 7th to 10th December, a plethora of great DJ's and turntablists will be returning to Verbier's hottest bars, clubs and of course the main venue, at the Mouton Noir.

The Mouton Noirhosts the main artists from early afternoon until midnight, plus there are 5 additional stages (free of charge) in the resort which will be open from 6pm until the early morning. Additional venues this year include The Farm Club, Farinet Lounge, Casbah, Le Crock no Name, Le Rouge and l'Etoile.

New for 2017, Red Bull will be getting the party started on 7th December with their 'Electronic music Ride.' The only details they've released about this addition to the festival so far is that it will start at midday, stopping at 3 venues around the ski area, finishing up in the early hours. Keep an eye on the festival's Facebook and Twitter feeds for updates..

Derrick Carter will also be making an appearance, playing for 3 back to back hours at the Farm Club on Friday 8th December from 23:00 - not to be missed!
